27 people including robbers, kidnappers arrested in Adabor and Mohammadpur
Police have arrested 27 people from Adabor and Mohammadpur in the capital on charges Police have of involvement in various crimes including robbery, drugs, and snatching. Dhaka Metropolitan Police Mohammadpur Zone Assistant Commissioner AKM Mehedi Hasan gave this information in a press release on Friday. The accused have been arrested and sent to court.
The release said that among the 18 people arrested from Mohammadpur, 4 are in preparation for robbery, 4 are under warrant, 7 are in drug cases, 1 is in murder cases and 2 are in violation of Dhaka Metropolitan Police ordinances. 100 pieces of Yaba, 2 kg of marijuana, 108 Tapentadol drugs have been recovered from the accused. The arrested persons from Mohammadpur are Riaz (32), Billal (35), Sabbir (35), Kashem (23), Shishu (42), Shakil (21), Abdur Rahman (21), Sujan (24), Ratan (22), Arif (30), Sarwar (28), Jihad (23), Mehedi (30), Mohiuddin (30), Rana (24), Hira (27), Hasibur Rahman (25) and Priyanka (25).
On the other hand, out of the 9 arrested from Adabor police station, 3 are robbers, 1 is a warrant accused and 2 are under the DMP ordinance and the remaining 3 are arrested in various cases. The arrested persons are Sarwar 26), Swapan Khan (26), Md. Saju (22), Shawon (39), Rabbi (21), Rinku (20), Sabuj (20), Rocky Hossain (26) and Pradeep (28).
